My Review Of Neocities

Specs

So as I am sure your aware this very website is hosted on Neocities and I am proud of it. Specs wise the pages update almost instantly after being edited which is amazing as I came from github which was good however it would take like 5 minutes to update the page and that time would increase the more you did it. However Neocities has its own issues such as the heavy upload restrictions but these can be easily bypassed with cat box by making your assets web hosted.

Community

The community here is amazing and the entire concept of the "INDIE WEB" is amazing because it fights back against the like 6 websites that are just made to keep your pig trogh filled with all that ooie gooy goodness that is the , X situation is Y, you know why I hate this, This guy is the scum of the earth, and everything else our algorithm overlords can feed us to get engagement because these social media companies biggest compatition for our attention is sleep. And that is why I love this website or websites is how it feels like your moms homecooking still hot from the oven compaired to the costant sickening sugar getting force fed to you, each bite blending in with that last where as every Neocities website is different with everyones own special sause that makes every site so unique.
